Access to the booking system is granted on joining the club and renewed on payment of each annual subscription. Instructions are available online in the booking system.
The workshop is divided into three areas, (Lift 1, Lift 2 and Floor) each area being available for one members' use per booked hour.
The normal unit of booking will be 2 hours. Requests for more hours should be limited to avoid monopolising the available space.
Block bookings for periods of several days can be granted on request, with sufficient advanced warning.
Keys for the workshop areas and tools are obtained from the KEYWATCHER management system using a personal ID and Code. Club members are informed how to use this system when joining the club.
The key to gain entry to the workshop for the booked session(s) is held in the Security Guard room and must be collected by users of the workshop and returned when leaving the site.
Using the workshop
The key to enter the workshop is obtained from the security guard at the gate house. This key will open the small door located in the large centre door.
The door to allow entry of a car is opened using the key provided at booking time.
NB: Each working position has a tool trolley. Please put the tools BACK in the right drawer and place within the trolley after usage!
On completion of the session the car must be removed and the large door closed. All keys must be returned to the KEYWATCHER box. On no account may keys be removed from the workshop.
When leaving the workshop the small door must be locked and the key must be returned to the security guards at the gate house.
It is forbidden to leave vehicles in the workshop overnight.
